This is an awesome direct drive motor. Awesome in most park flyer type planes. Excellent torque for the 3D birds & Gliders to 30 oz. Customer feedback shows a 10x8 folding prop (in a glider) is pulling less then 14 amps on a 3-cell lipo and still pulling better then 22oz. of thrust.

The 450 series is bigger then the 400's we offer. Diameter of this motor is 27.7mm with a body length of 30mm. It weighs only 63 grams (2oz.). And has a 3mm shaft. The 450XT is well known for exceptional power with out breaking the wallet. The magnets are good to 180 degrees, and the shaft is supported by two ball bearings, not bushings. Tech Notes: Very Nice motor. Loving it on birds to almost 30 oz. For you hover all day long types stick to birds 20oz. or less. To get a true feeling of the motors performance check out some of the videos.

In the past we have grossly under estimated this motor as it has little problem with the 45" wingspan and 27 oz. Grove. This video was unknowingly shot by Mrs. Mile High. 3-cell 1700 mah pack with a 10x7 prop. The 11x4.7 prop throws allot more thrust but does slow it down a tad. I spent the day snapping, rolling, and spinning trying to stress this motor. Here is the Video she got.

Suggested set up: Direct drive with a 10x7 or 11x4.7 prop. Please note the GWS HD props will pull less amps and this lends to longer flight times.

Plastic GWS stick mount suitable for 400 and 450 series outrunner motors. Motor mounts for 10mm stick mount. Pusher or puller application, in other words the motor can mount on either side of the mount. Clips hold the motor wires out of the way. Does not come with screws. Max. Motor Diameter is 28MM.
