Run this motor on 2-4 cell lipos
(7-15 metal cells) and match it with an ESC of 25 Amp
through 60Amp capacity. The motor comes as photo with
3.5mm connectors pre-installed and the female connectors
for the ESC are included as well. Also including an
X-mount, and bell end prop adaptor the 5mm shaft is
reversible and replaceable.
Motor is
rate at 450 Watts peak, with a suggested max amp draw of
38 Amps. Although the factory suggests a 12x8 prop on
4-cell pulls 400 watts we are getting more like 550
watts on a freshly charged pack. On 4-cell we suggest
sticking to APC E props 12x6 and smaller with 11x7
probably being ideal. On 3-cell it would be hard to tax
this motor.
