300DF
The 300Df in an excellent little power house.
Versatile it is an awesome direct drive motor for the micro and mini
wings. Geared a great up grade for GWS pico or 3D series birds. And
adds perfect power for most of the flat foam type 3D birds on the
market. This motor finds a home in planes from pico's to 20 ounce
trainers.
This motor is comparable to the other 300DF
models on the market. But un-like the other brands the shaft is
easily reversible and/or replaceable. So when the landing is not so
great and you break or bend a shaft you do not need to replace the
bell for $10-$15. Simply replace the
shaft for $3.00 instead. Recently reworked the shaft now has
very close tolerances eliminating vibration, Magnets are good to 180
degrees, High speed bearings supporting the shaft on both ends. And
very rare in the industry, and required by Mile High RC for all the
500 and smaller size motors, the stator is double bonded limiting
stator movement on nose in landings/crashes. All leading to better
efficiency and increased power.
Like the 400
Series motors the 300 series
fits in to any GWS type speed 400
gear box
(yes 400 size). Allows easy use with a stick mount.
Shafts are even 2.3mm so the pinion is a perfect fit
(lock tight may be
needed).Or can mount on most direct drive
speed 400 mounts. We also stock shafts (2.3mm and 3.0mm) and
gear boxes.
Did we mention weight savings? The 300 series outrunners weigh only
an ounce.

Nice motor
combo for the foam or smaller indoor birds. Add some speed to the
smaller wings!!

with a 700mah 3-cell total power system (battery, motor, and ESC)
Weighs in
around 4oz. Nice!!
Please note:
no connectors on the motor or ESC. only wire leads. Motors are
shipped with 2.3mm shafts, if you are going direct drive we suggest
a 3mm shaft. Please make a note with payment or drop us a line and
we will swap the shaft to 3mm for you.
