This is a nice light direct drive
outrunner
motor. Run this motor on 2-3 cell lipos and match it with an ESC of 12 Amp through 20Amp
capacity. The motor comes as photo with 3.5mm connectors
pre-installed and the female connectors for the ESC are
included as well. Also including an X-mount, prop saver,
and cullet type prop adaptor the 3.17mm shaft is
reversible and replaceable.
Motor is
rate at 150 Watts but can takes bursts to 200 watts
without issue. We ran it on the test stand at 180 watts,
it got a little warm but nothing in flight air would not
take care of. Videos below are peaking at 170 Watts.

A few More in an Aero Works Extra 260
EP. Motor is a little light for this application we had
to put the ESC where the battery should go and the
battery where the ESC should go. The wind did not do us
any favors either. On a side note this motor has had a
very poor life. On the Sportline we had a pretty bad
crash, it left the motor about 5 inches in the ground.
We pulled it out, blew on it and put it in the Extra. So
the strange noise you hear is either dirt still in the
motor, or possibly a bent shaft, we will check into it
one day.
